Resolving Any Z-Index Issues

Should you find that the overlapping of certain elements in the Gluru Ask Bar on your website are incorrect, then you may need to adjust its Z-Index.

The Z-Index is a CSS (cascading style sheet) property that allows you to adjust the z-order of elements on a page. When you set the Z-Index to a number, should any element(s) overlap, then the element with a higher number will appear above the element with a lower number.

In other words, an element with a Z-index greater than another element, will always appear on top.

In order to adjust the Z-Index (and other CSS properties) of the Ask Bar, please follow the instructions below:

Using inline styles

<form data-gluru-ask style="z-index: 300;">
   <input type="text" spellcheck>
   <input type="submit" value="Ask a question">

Then in your stylesheet

.my-ask-bar {
 z-index: 300;
